Vani’s journey began in the classroom, where she taught high school mathematics for 3 years after earning her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and teaching certification from the University of Texas at Arlington. Enthusiastic about problem-solving and communication, she pursued a Master of Science in Business Analytics from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at University of Texas at Dallas, shifting her focus to the world of technology. After joining the Xeratec family, she applies her ability to simplify complexity, connect teams, and drive projects forward in the fast-paced, ever-evolving world of software development.
Helping others and fostering a positive environment is what drives Vani’s passion and purpose. Her motivation comes from being a part of the team and seeing others flourish, as well as creating an atmosphere where everyone feels happy, light, and carries a spring in their step.
Outside of work, Vani is a passionate dancer with over a decade of training in Kuchipudi, an Indian classical dance form depicting stories of Hindu mythology. Through this art, Vani learned the magic of storytelling, a skill that shaped her communication style, aiming to craft meaningful narratives that connect people and ideas, not just executing tasks. In 2023, she completed her Kuchipudi graduation ceremony, performing eight intricate dances with a live orchestra in front of a large audience—including her dance guru, students, friends, and family.
Embracing her love for creative expression, including painting, scrapbooking, singing, and dancing, helped Vani hone her unique ability to bridge gaps—between artistic expression & practical execution, business & technology, data & decision-making, and inspiration & process.
Meaningful work is built on open and honest communication, and Vani’s secret weapon is connection.
